Project Engineer

CA is currently looking to add a Project Engineer to its team in Austin, TX. The Project Engineer will work under the supervision and direction of the Project Manager team, assisting on forensic engineering investigations with a focus on litigation-based projects. The Project Engineer will assist with structural modeling, analysis, and design on forensic investigations and repair projects, however, the Project Engineer should be willing and able to regularly assist on nonstructural-type projects as directed by the Project Managers. Ideal candidates will have a wide breadth of knowledge related to construction and various infrastructure.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Engineer position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
• Work with Project Managers to complete forensic investigations
• Support work and projects of CA in a team environment
• Organize, review, and analyze documents related to the design and construction of various types of structures
• Model and analyze structural elements and systems to validate visual observations, assess as-built structures, design repairs, etc.
• Develop and design repairs for identified distress and/or deficiencies and provide support as repairs are implemented
• Complete condition assessments and evaluations of existing structures
• Execute testing protocol for field investigations using a combination of visual assessment, non-destructive testing, destructive testing, and/or laboratory testing
• Troubleshoot and remediate problems arising during construction
• Communicate and explain engineering concepts, investigation findings, and recommendations in reports and verbal presentations
• Foster interns’ knowledge and experience with structural engineering software, as necessary

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Structural Engineering from ABET accredited university
• 2 to 5 years of structural design experience and/or forensic engineering experience
• FE/EIT Certification
• PE Licensed in Texas preferred
• Extensive knowledge in structural design using various materials, such as concrete, steel, masonry, and wood
• Familiarity with various structural design codes, standards, and specifications
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and abroad
• Ability and willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying environments to complete condition assessments, testing, analysis, and other tasks
• Ability to communicate technical matters and findings in a clear, organized manner
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient in structural analysis, design, and drawing using: SAP2000/ETABS, RISA-3D, Adapt, AutoCAD

Digital Marketing Specialist

CA is currently looking to add a part-time Digital Marketing Specialist to its team in Austin, TX. The Digital Marketing Specialist will work under the supervision and direction of the Project Manager team to maintain and expand CA’s marketing plan. This position has the option for working remotely combined with meetings at CA’s office.

The position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Work with Project Managers to maintain current marketing plan
• Report status and progress of existing marketing activities to Project Managers
• Market the work and projects of CA including advertising, direct marketing, and/or branding using the web, printed materials, presentations, sponsorships, and more
• Develop and publish content highlighting CA’s work and experience
• Maintain, update, plan, develop, and execute web content, Adwords, SEO, etc.
• Maintain, update, and expand CA’s Linkedin page and Google accounts
• Develop and publish quarterly newsletters promoting the activities and leadership of CA
• Maintain, update, and expand CA’s resumes and company literature
• Develop cost-effective marketing and communication expansion plans, considering new mediums, techniques, and products

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Candidates with equivalent relevant knowledge and/or experience will be considered
• Demonstrated knowledge and skill in writing and graphic arts
