Using the most recent advancements in design theories and analysis methods, CA has provided structural engineering professional services ranging from original design calculations to the assessment of actual conditions on an as-built structure to determine its adequacy under current and/or expected future uses. CA's staff has reviewed designs that push the envelope of current standard practice optimizing design and architectural details. The integration of CA's expertise in the areas of construction, materials, and structural engineering are the essence to efficient, cost-effective engineering solutions.
CA has conducted evaluations to determine the in-place structural adequacy of the as-built structure. CA's extensive resume in the structural engineering area has involved the analysis and design of concrete foundation structures to the calculation and prediction of deflections. CA engineers are active members of several local- and national-level associations and are part of committees where code provisions and guidelines are developed for the construction industry.
